1Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what is generated automatically when you use our site, and what our service providers pass on to us to complete an order.

Information you provide

• Name, mobile number, email address, and delivery/billing address when you create an account, place an order, or fill the newsletter or contact form.
• Order details — saree selections, size/blouse preferences where applicable, and any special instructions you leave at checkout.
• Correspondence you send us over email, WhatsApp, phone, or Instagram/Facebook direct messages, including any images you share for exchange or custom-order requests.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and time spent, collected through standard web analytics.
• Cart and wishlist activity, so items you add are still there when you return.

Information from third parties

Our payment gateway and courier partners share limited transaction and delivery-status data with us (for example, payment confirmation or a shipment's delivery status) so we can process and fulfil your order correctly.

2How we use your information

• To process, pack, and ship your saree orders, and to keep you updated on order and delivery status.
• To respond to queries about weave, fabric, drape, or care instructions through our support channels.
• To send order confirmations, invoices, and — only if you opt in — newsletters about new loom releases, weaver stories, and festive offers.
• To improve our collections and website experience based on aggregate browsing and purchase patterns.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised use of our website.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations under Indian law.

3Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and understand how our site is used. These fall into three categories:

4When we share your information

We share only what is necessary, and only with parties who help us run the business:

• Courier and logistics partners — your name, address, and phone number, to deliver your saree to you.
• Payment gateway providers — transaction details necessary to process payment; we do not store your full card or UPI credentials on our servers.
• IT and hosting service providers — who host our website and databases under confidentiality obligations.
• Government or regulatory authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

5Payments & financial data

All online payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant, RBI-authorised payment gateways. Your card, net-banking, or UPI details are entered directly into the gateway's secure interface and are never stored on our servers. Cash-on-delivery orders, where offered, involve only the information needed for the courier to collect payment at your doorstep.

6Data retention

We retain order and invoice records for as long as required under Indian tax and consumer-protection law, typically up to 8 years, and account information for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to what we are legally required to keep for accounting purposes.

7How we protect your data

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted internal access to customer data, and secure payment processing through certified gateways. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users if a breach materially affects their data, as required by law.

8Your rights & choices

• Access & correction — you can view and update your profile details from your account, or write to us to correct inaccurate information.
• Opt out of marketing — every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link; you may also message us on WhatsApp to opt out.
• Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to statutory record-keeping requirements.
• Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent (for example, marketing communication), you can withdraw it at any time without affecting past processing.

9Children's privacy

Our website is intended for users who are 18 years or older, or who are shopping under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always tell you when it was last revised. Continued use of our website after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
